White + Willow began the moment the business next door closed its doors. Sharon, the owner of ShoreDog Café had longed to get back into the retail business. After 8 years of successfully owning and operating the local neighborhood café, it was time to expand. The spaces are now connected by a dutch door.

Memories of a dutch door come from her home in California where she would leave the top half of the door open to watch and hear her children play. The dutch door at the café provides a peak into the new retail store and now keeps the little customers from running to and fro.
